pennydreadfulmux.com now contains a very barebones TikiWiki install that we can play with. You can sign up for an account on the page. I'm still messing about with making it acknowledge my adminly rights but most of that won't be essential right away.
Also: In the vein of additional blood again, do you all remember Jones/Septimus from CC/Lucretius from LJ? He is a 19th century literature professor guy, but more than that, he is brilliant. Perhaps not very free time-ful, but now that we have a place to dump content, I think he might be a nice addition for just coming up with and scribbling down odd but brilliant ideas, generally of individual people or places.

I recall Jones after a fashion. Didn't know he was a scholar of this era. Always good to have more thoughts bouncing around.
I'd be delighted to have an expert's opinion. One thing I do ask is that we have a name to call these people by, and that goes for both "Jones" and the other old guys from CC. It doesn't have to be their real name I guess (though I don't like being treated like a stalker when we're all trying to build something together, and anonymity can be empowering in all the wrong ways) but something to call them would be nice.
I also dare say that, at least until we all get to know each other better, that these people be considered "helpful players" rather than "staff." If they want to -be- staff, I am all for something like that, -after- we've all gotten some ground rules (like responsibilities) down. Players don't have responsibilities, of course.
I hope I do not come off too scary.
I imagine that Jorg and Josephine will be willing to exchange names. Jones I am not as sure of, but he is a friend of theirs as well as at least an acquaintance of mine. At this stage, I would consider any responsibilities they had to be 'to help', in whatever fashion, with specifics to be nailed down. I don't know that all of them will even join to participate--I hope that they do, as they are fantastically talented and fun to be around.
But at this point, I don't think they'd consider themselves staff either--and they may not wish to, as it does imply responsibility to be upheld. We can question them on it more closely later, if they decide to come by at all.
I don't mean to sound like a grouchy old fart. Games like this can use as many hands as are available.
If they can send me an email, I'll add them to the blog's roll call.
I think helpful player status sounds like the best option too. Need to make sure everyone works well together, have enough time to staff and so forth and so on. Plus, I'm wary of too many chefs in the kitchen at this early a stage. Help, however, is never a bad thing. :D
I've seen that Jorg and Jo already have bits established as Acierocolotl and Kalimonster respectively, which are their blogging names. I figure Jonesy can pick whatever he likes and L will create the bit for him while J adds him to ze bloglist.
